See Art Orlando is a collection of 8 sculpture commissions which were funded privately.  Each sculpture had a donor who paid for its construction and installation.  The sculptures were then donated to the city of Orlando.  This bronze, way over life-size sculpture is entitled Right Feet Major and was created by Todji Kurtzman. It was sponsored by Keine/Quigley.

This sculpture was created by Wendy Ross and is entitled Astrogenisis II.  The top of sculpture is composed of tiny spirals which I am unable to capture on camera.  You have to see it in person to appreciate it. It was sponsored by Davos Family Foundations.

This sculpture stands 30 tall and is illuminated at night which really transforms it.  It was created by Jacob Harmeling and was sponsored by Khaled Akkawi

This sculpture is entitled Centered and was created by C.J. Rench.  A monumental work it overlooks Lake Eola and was sponsored by Universal Orlando Resort.

This giant work is created in lightweight aluminum and the various sections rotate in the wind.  It was created by Rolfonso Gschwend and was sponsored by Harvey and Carol Massey family. It is entitled Union

This sculpture is called Global Convergence and was created by Deedee Morrison.  The sponsor for this piece is Bright House Networks.

This sculpture is by Douwe Blumberg and is entitled Take Flight it was sponsored by Darden.  See Art Orlando was very unusual in terms of public art.  It was a tremendously ambitious project.  Installing one sculpture with public funds can be daunting but what this project accomplished - securing funding, selecting work, organizing installations, etc.  They are to be commended. 
Most of the work is located at Lake Eola, two other pieces are located nearby in downtown. 

After the sculptures were installed, there was the dedication.  This is the setup at my piece, the Discovery Muse.

The sponsor for my sculpture was Wayne Densch Charities, Incorporated.  I really appreciate their support on this project.

The Mayor of Orlando visited each piece during the dedication, and sat for photographs - this is my view of the phtographers.

Each night the fountain of Lake Eloa puts on a display of light to music.
